After retirement in 2008, I built a house on property in Underwood that I had purchased in1996. We moved into that house in 2009. I joined the Underwood Community council in 2011, later becoming the President. I spent six or so years as President and still treasure that experience of meeting and working with residents of Underwood. The accomplishment that I am most proud of is helping the residents of Underwood save the Present Park and Community Center from being sold by the Skamania County Commissioners into private ownership. We spent many hours and much hard work to establish the Skamania County Park and Recreation District and pass the tax levy to fund it. Presently I serve on the board of Friends of Underwood as Vice President in charge of left over Ice Cream.
Robin has owned her Underwood home since 2012. She has been an active supporter of UPRD, cares for the little library, supports several local charities. She is also a board member of PAI (Performing Arts Initive)
As a retired Technology Professional, I worked my entire career in Law Firm Management. First as a controller for a mid-sized law firm in the mid-west. That role positioned me for a move to Thomson Reuters, where my focus was assisting law firms to implement new software systems, and ultimately helping firms to maximize their financial performance, utilizing various Thomson Reuters "Elite" software solutions. I have been a passionate volunteer for over 25 years for various organizations serving in roles as treasurer, volunteer coordinator, event coordinator, and general volunteering. Currently, I serve as the Treasurer for "Friends of Underwood" and host 6 Red Cross Blood Drives annually at the Underwood Community Center helping to save lives, give back, and pay it forward. I am a cyclist, skier, and Cross-Fitter. I live with my husband and 2 dogs. I love being with friends and meeting new people.
